Girl Sketch
I literally fell in love with this girl when I drew her. This was one of the very inspirational sketches for me. I found the simpleness of this sketch very appealing.

Cave Painting
This is from a tutorial by Mark Crilley on how to make a sketch with crosshatching. It was a very interesting sketch and I had fun making it. The silhouette painting of the man and the surrounding areas is very simple and gives a nice effect.

Torchic
This was one of my first attempts at Watercolors. I used to paint using poster colors and when I switched to watercolors, I followed the same pattern of solid color application that I was used to. I realized though, that watercolors can be applied in a different manner through which we can get a gradient…

Little Dinosaur
This photo was taken in a bit different manner where some real plant was used to make it look as if the dinosaur was going to smell the flowers. The entire sketch was done using a color pencil, that’s how I could get that dark black.

Bane
A while back I had made this sketch of Bane. I showed it around to a couple of my friends and they all had a similar opinion about it, they all questioned me why was the head of this character so small as compared to the rest of the body. One of my friends tried…

Chibi Girl
I had bought a new dip pen. So this was my very first attempt at using it. It’s not that pretty cause the ink has spread out a lot. I would probably need thicker paper next time.

Pooh
I have not yet become very comfortable with watercolors but I like trying them out as often as I can. This painting has a simple coat of solid paint and then, I have gone over it with some pencil colors to give it some texture and shading. It was a fun project.

Togepi II
I made this sketch for a friend of mine who had requested that I color in the previous Togepi sketch. I couldn’t color in the one which I had already made cause the shading in that was done mostly with a black pencil color and I wouldn’t have been able to erase it and color…
