I am following an artist who has a page called “DoodleWash” – here he gives monthly challenges. There is a theme for each month and there is a sub-topic for each day. The theme for this month is “Days”. Every day is celebrated for something or other, that’s how Google Doodle comes up with something new daily. So, for every day of September, the challenge is to draw or paint something related to a thing celebrated on that day.

8th September was Iguana Awareness Day, so I have made this Iguana sketch. I combined multiple references and then finally came up with this sketch. In a way, this is my original sketch, not a complete copy of someone else’s sketch, like rest of my sketches have been.

This makes me really happy and in a way, it was really entertaining to make this.
