The Joker
I am super hyped about the new Joker movie. It is going to be a low budget movie which will be about the origins of the clown prince. I have seen what they have done with the falling series Transformers where they created a low budget movie focusing on the (kind of) origins of Bumblebee.…

Olivia Flaversham
She is a character from the movie The Great Mouse Detective that initially released in 1986. It was later re-released after the success of other Disney movies like The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. I believe it is not that widely known since it didn’t have any exceptionally memorable support charters like Sebastian and Iago which…

The Flash
I have started signing my artwork again. I used to always sign the sketches I used to make and used to date them so I would know when I made them and it helped me keep a track of my improvement over time. But lately, I stopped, I can’t remember why. Eventually, I just ran…

Lion
This was made as a part of a tutorial series from Mark Crilley which I have had been following for a while. I enjoyed making this a lot and am very happy with the final output. It’s very satisfying seeing a realistic like sketch. I have followed along using a famous two pencil method of…

Taz
Tazmanian Devil. Commonly known as Taz in the Looney Tunes Caron show. I have used three different techniques to make this image. Firstly I have it a base of pencil color shading, then I have it a thin outline with a gel pen and finally I have it a think border with a cello marky.…

Dodo
Dodo, very often used as an insult was actually a flightless bird which was extinct in around 1600’s. I believe the reason people so often use Dodo as an insult is cause at that time, the dodo was considered stupid for letting itself get caught easily and eventually extinct.

Bolt
One of the tougher sketches I made. The fur was tough enough but the proportions of this pose were very difficult for me to get right. Finally, I could get it to look like the reference image that I was copying. I got to learn quite a few good techniques in this one. I am…

Wolverine
Two faces of the same man. Both Angry. I have always been a big fan of Wolverine. I love how this picture brings together both the cartoony style and the more traditional style.

The Predator

The movie has been hated by a lot of reviewers. I was in half a mind to not go for it at all, but as a huge fan of Sci-Fi movies, I saw the movie anyway. If you are looking for a quick answer, yes, the movie sucks. Not as much as everyone is claiming…

Girl Sketch
I literally fell in love with this girl when I drew her. This was one of the very inspirational sketches for me. I found the simpleness of this sketch very appealing.

Cave Painting
This is from a tutorial by Mark Crilley on how to make a sketch with crosshatching. It was a very interesting sketch and I had fun making it. The silhouette painting of the man and the surrounding areas is very simple and gives a nice effect.

Little Dinosaur
This photo was taken in a bit different manner where some real plant was used to make it look as if the dinosaur was going to smell the flowers. The entire sketch was done using a color pencil, that’s how I could get that dark black.
