She is a mutant with the powers to drain any other mutants powers.

In the movies, she starts with complete black hair, then to defeat Magneto, she drains his powers, she takes in too much of him and apparently, her hair gets those streaks of white in the front.

I have always liked the idea of having powers to drain/copy others powers. That way, you are not restricted with just one power. You have powers of whomever you want.

This image has a card too, cause in the comics, Gambit is Rogue’s boyfriend. They have a hard time, cause Gambit cannot touch Rogue, not without getting his power drained.
